Hometown: Marlborough, Mass.
Current City: Long Beach, Calif.

Three adjectives that describe you: Funny, outgoing and creative.
Favorite Activities: Anything outdoors, skateboarding, drums and making YouTube videos.
What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house: Not being able to talk to family and friends. Not seeing or hearing from them for that amount of time will be really difficult.
Do you have a strategy for winning Big Brother?: Yes, my outer personality will be a perfect cover for the secret competitor that I truly am. I am the funny guy, I’m young and immature which will play to my advantage; but I’m also a marathoner, a former college hockey player and a very smart and creative thinker. I will never throw a competition and I won’t lie about who I am or my life, but I’m willing to backstab people. I will seek an alliance very early on with the guys, and I am not considering a showmance. I know I can win this game with my charm and underlying physical and mental talent.
Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most: Hayden because he resembles me in just about every way possible. He was the west coast, flippy-haired, chill, attractive dude with the same first name. Also, he played the game very smart and always managed to find the middle ground between not being a floater and not being a super competitive threat.
What are you afraid of: Not living up to other people’s expectations.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of: I moved to California all by myself. Also, I ran a marathon. It’s a toss-up.
Finish this sentence: My life’s motto is… To always get my laugh out of it.

Guitar: I don’t play, but I assume there’s a lot of free time so maybe I could learn. Camera: unlimited Big Brother selfies to post on Instagram when I go back home.
What would you do if “Big Brother” made you famous: I would exploit my fame for money and success like any other reasonable person would.

What are you afraid of: I am not fond of snakes and spiders.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of: I am most proud of becoming a mother. I know this sounds cliché, but getting my degrees weren’t as hard as both of my pregnancies. During my first pregnancy I had to overcome a lot of obstacles. I was on bed rest for 5 months and was fired because of it. I had to fight for my job and the fight put me back in the hospital, but ultimately I got my job back. I was also on bed rest for 3 months during my second pregnancy.
Finish this sentence: My life’s motto is… Toes are pointed forwarded for a reason; so stop walking backward into your past.

What would you do if “Big Brother” made you famous: I would use the fame to help my ministry bring in more women and teens in the world. I would have larger conferences empowering those who are lost, hurt, bullied, divorced, single, etc. I want to reach one in order to teach one. I would take my Motivational Speaking to another level based upon my fame.

Jocasta is a minister who once got into an argument with a church goer for complaining about her not wearing panty hose. She would swear on the bible to win the game of Big Brother and plays pranks on her husband when she’s angry with him.

What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house: Forming an alliance you can trust. Going into the Big Brother house thinking someone is going to have your back might be the craziest thought yet. Also, not seeing familiar faces will be difficult too.
Do you have a strategy for winning Big Brother?: Ideally, I would want to align with a male who would excel in the physical competitions and have a secret final 2 deal and have separate alliances on top of that. I want to win the first HOH so everyone can come to me and I can feel them out and see who I think I could trust.
Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most: Dan because he is intelligent and cocky which made for good TV. Ian was one of my favorites too. He can talk nerdy to me anytime. Also, Jordan was too cute and sweet not to love.

I call her every time I arrive and leave a place and I like to tell her about my day. Also, I live with my parents so if I’m not talking to her on the phone I am talking to her in person.
Do you have a strategy for winning Big Brother?: In it to win it! I don’t take no for an answer. I will manipulate people with my looks; I am very strategic and always get what I want. The word CAN’T is not in my vocabulary.
Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most: I don’t watch Big Brother in the states; I watch the one in Israel.

60 thoughts to “MEET the ALL NEW CAST of Big Brother 16!”

  1. Haven’t even seen them play yet and I already like this cast way more than the group of bullies, racists and homophobes of last season.

  2. I think the cast looks great!!!! And I know a lot of people are upset about Frankie since he is Ariana Grande’s brother, but he is actually an alumni in the fraternity I am in and every year we chat over a few beers. He is a great guy and easily one of the funniest people I have ever met. I really think he will be a force to be reckoned with. He ability to analyze people and call them out on it is hysterical.

  3. Praise the lord. No Andy. Unless this group of people are just a casting decoy. The real people entering house are to be revealed later.

  4. I, along with everyone here, loves BB, but this season is definately not impressing me. These new twists don’t inspire gameplay but will in a sense punish players who actually win a HoH? Umm ok. I understand after last season’s debacle BB needs a successful season to continue it’s run, but by dividing the house you are trying to hard to adapt Survivor’s template but BB has something that works but is trying to over correct for a disgusting last season.

So they think splitting the house and allowing America to affect the game (glass house? Oh no please) will attract our attention even more? I don’t think so but we will see.

Also am I not the only one who noticed none of these HGs seem to know anything about BB with the exception of the girl who likes Howie, because the rest of them named the most well known and generic HGs of the past 5 seasons?

I hope I am all wrong, but this season in my opinion isn’t on a great trajectory at the moment and I just wish BB would cast people who love and understand the game rather than cast people with no BB culture and pray America will change the game.

    Fingers crossed !!!!!

  5. Ummm…Did Joey say GinaMarie was her favorite because of her great attitude? I’m already afraid of her thought process. Oh, and Donny loves Spencer? Speechless! But, wait, it gets worse…Paola is good friends with BB15’s GinaMarie. Seriously, wtf?

  6. These people look like walking stereotypes. That gay guy is putting a bad name on all gays just by the way he looks. Why can this show never just have a gay guy that isn’t extremely flaming

    1. Are you aware of the message you are sending to gay men. You are telling them to not be themselves as well as putting masculinity on a pedestal. Gay men are not defined by their “flamboyancy” but rather their character. It is not a stereotype to be the person you are and by empowering the ‘masculine gay man’ you are creating a divide within the homosexual community. Telling someone they are too “flaming” is denying someone the ability to truly accept themselves for a situation they have already fought over themselves with. Learn to embrace all personality types and the ability to judge someone for their character and not their femininity.

      1. Flaming is outrageous, No need to be overly dramatic and constantly on stage. Gives gays a bad rep. On a continuum flaming is outside the norm just as hard ass bull dog dikes.

    2. You’re right. The gay community shouldn’t promote weirdos who dress and act ridiculous (the flamboyant gays and we can also add the manly ‘butch’ lesbians to that), but instead regular people who happen to be attracted to the same sex. Just because someone’s gay, it doesn’t mean he should walk around with a pink feather sticking out of his ass or wave his hands like he was trying to fly when talking. And I still can’t explain the lisp some gay men get. This isn’t an anti-gay post, just anti-weirdo. Time to promote gay people who dress and act normally for a change.

    3. Amen!! I am sick and tired of BB only putting the most flaming gay men in the house. And “Get It Straight”, sorry, but I am sick and tired of CBS promoting the idea that we are all that stereotype. Some of us gay men are perfectly comfortable in our own masculinity. And it’s about time that CBS showed that there are more of us out there than just the pink-haired, nelly twinks.

    4. That is really messed up! You are really judging him on how he looks. Like it’s really upsetting you that he’s being himself! Also that “gay guys” name is Frankie. THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE BOO!

  7. Awesome cast .. but I say that every year.

Not really keen on people being cast that have family members with millions of fans. In a game where the fans vote not really fair.

  8. Is there any “chance” that with the 16 new players we get 16 returning vets also? And that the real twist about 2 Heads of Household each week is that there will be a HOH from the 16 new players and a HOH from the 16 returning players? And that they are playing simultaneously? That would definitely be an interesting twist on the idea IMO.

    1. Totally agree. We were about to cancel our DVR setting if they brought back players that have been on before. CBS has a bad habit of doing that e.g.; Amazing Race, Survivor. We didn’t watch the Amazing Race this season for that same reason and we have long stopped watching Survivor since people come back 3 & 4 times. It’s boring when you know peoples game play and the idiots on these shows that keep them around. I guess there is nobody else left in the country to choose from

  9. I feel like these people know nothing about Big Brother. They like Spencer, GM, and Hayden?? Oy. And this one chick “I wanna be the nicest BB player ever”. lol. Girl, we don’t want nice tho. And am I the only one who finds it extremely unfair that Arianna Grande’s brother is a Houseguest. Elissa Reilly 2.0. Especially if they’re doing public votes? Cringe. Not impressed thus far, but can’t judge a book by it’s cover. This COULD be interesting.

  10. 0-2 Superfans TOTAL in this cast…

Answers to who their past fave house guest was:
    – Howard….I really don’t feel like he’s merited being anyone’s favourite. He did throw that HaveNot comp once, that was funny.
    – Britney…someone watched season 12 in sequestered
    – Hayden…someone else watched season 12 in sequestered
    – Howie,Boogie and Helen…Finally someone who has seen pre-season 10
    – Jeff…You’ve got to be frickin kidding me
    – Dan…acceptable answer, pretty generic though
    – Hayden…BB12 was watched by many in Sequestered
    – Spencer…a joke, surely.
    – Britney…BB12insequestered
    – Hayden…BB12insequestered
    – Rachel..dare I say BB12insequestered? She did come back to win, so I’ll give them that
    – GinaMarie…oh HELLLLL NO.
    – Dan, Ian and Jordan…acceptable until she mentioned Jordan
    – Didn’t even answer the question, at least not according to this post…
    – Admitted to have only watched BB Israel, not BBUS…i think it is an absolute travesty that someone who has never seen the game gains a spot in the house over the thousands and thousands of fans that apply each year. What is this girl even DOING here?
    – Andy…Dawg get ready to start writing ‘Zach enters the conversation’

      1. Means if they are booted they remain “cut off” from the outside world. Giving them the opportunity to re-enter the game. Like Survivor’s redemption island. I like the twist. Win a challenge and re-enter. Could make for some interesting scenarios.

      2. Means if they are booted they remain “cut off” from the outside world. Giving them the opportunity to re-enter the game. Like Survivor’s redemption island. I like the twist. Win a challenge and re-enter. Could make for some interesting scenarios.

      3. What he means is that HG’s are often sequestered in hotels by themselves for several days before they enter the house. They cannot watch regular TV, so production usually supplies them with past seasons of the show to watch. I, too, think they must have given them Season 12 to watch.

  11. Frankie may be a great guy but WHY would they put him in a season where they are proclaiming that “America has an influence like never before”. Seriously, search on twitter/tumblr and you can see how many Ariana Grande fans are already stating that they’ll be rooting/voting for him. She has millions of fans so as much as I did like Elissa last season, it’s going to be another Elissa situation. He may not win but Frankie has America’s favorite in the bag 100%, and any other America voted twists will be in his favor as well.

    1. I know right! Like, did they not think of this????? Frankie is going to win every single fan vote. And probably on a much larger scale than even Elissa did last season.

  12. Well at least more than half of the cast is above 25 years old. I hope it turns out to be a good season. The added twist sounds odd but only time will tell.

On a side note, I really love this site but I don’t know if I like the changes you’ve made. Why are the post so large and spacious?? I liked being able to see several comments on one page.

  13. So excited for this season to start! I’m rooting for Derrek because he is from my home state of Rhode Island AND Frankie Grande!! <3

  14. The chick and dude who cited GinaMarie and Spencer as past favorite players have lost credibility already……. hope they go immediately, something’s up with Frankie Grande, wonder if he’s gonna be America’s player or something like that ; otherwise unfair advantage

    1. Agreed. If they purposefully use Frankie as America’s player then all is well. If they put it up to some BS vote week after week, then no.

  15. I’m sorry but this is really pathetic casting. Maybe 1 fan in there, while the rest are just complete idiots going in there with no idea what is going on. I hate this so much because the people who have seen only one season, don’t know anything about the game, and don’t know anything about strategies that you can play.
Don’t get me wrong, i do like some parts of the new season like the new house layout but i already have a feeling that this cast is going to be lame.

  16. Time will tell, but based on the ad I just saw, they all look more like cartoon characters than people. So…wannabe actors, most of ’em? (I haven’t read the bios yets).

  17. OK, just read the bios. At this stage, it’s Derrick, Paola or Caleb for me – they read as the most interesting and smart. The rest seem ‘airheady’ and vacuous.

  18. Rooting for nicole; she is from my very small hometown! So awesome. I met her once before. Was at the same homecoming as her or something like that. I am hoping she will surprise people.

  19. I am really loving a lot of the houseguests! But TBH I’m already not liking Zack, I mean really he calls himself a con artist. But they’re probably keep him to the end or be the first one out either way I’m not a fan. Poala is probably going to be my favorite houseguest she seems fun but reminds me a lot of GinaMarie, can’t they get any different houseguests! But it is pretty good so far. <3
    -Yass Boo!

  20. I am already annoyed about Frankie. He has a really unfair advantage because he is going into the house with a fan base and not one of BB status. He also has his sisters fans voting. I don’t know, I like some twists and such but not to change the game so much that its not BB anymore. You know what I mean. You are not even safe as the HOH, that sucks .Okay enough whining….

I think this looks good so far. We have only met these people for 5 minutes and haven’t seen their personalities when the other people come in the house. Then I am sure we can see the dynamics of the house and start our BB judgement of them all lols 😛 .
Looking forward to this season and reading all about it. 🙂

  21. so if Zach stays(PLEASE!!!!!!!!, WE WANT DRAMA)
