11:40am Caleb joins Frankie and Brittany over by the pool. Frankie calls Caleb a vision of gorgeousness. Frankie says that his type has never been a big muscle guy but after this he thinks he’ll go to a bar and find one like him. Frankie heads inside. Caleb tells Brittany I really hope that date last night with Amber wasn’t the real one because it really wasn’t worth eating the pickle for. Caleb says that he is going to put a pickle inside a banana and close it up to make it look like its a regular banana. It’s to show her that you can’t judge a book by its cover. That the outside doesn’t always match the inside. I might be all muscles but that’s not what’s inside. Brittany says oh that’s cute! Caleb says Give a banana a chance?! Open it peel it! You never know until you open it. There have been numerous times when the cover of a book doesn’t match the inside of the book. I was thinking she hates banana’s and I hate pickle! How can I incorporate the two. Brittany says oh that’s cute! Caleb says I was thinking of trying to glue it shut. Brittany says I have double sided tape you could use. Caleb says I will hand it to her and I’m sure she won’t take it. I will try my hardest to get her to open it. At the end of the day the outer appearance isn’t what its all about.
Big Brother 16 Live Feed FREE TRIAL – Use the FLASHBACK feature to watch everything you’ve missed!
11:50am – 12pm Big Brother calls for an indoor lock down. Caleb tells Frankie about his pickle inside a banana idea. Frankie says wow, so you’re a pickle! Caleb says you can chase her all over the house and she won’t touch a banana but if you can get her to open it .. Frankie says If you can do it, I want to be there. I want to be there when you do that! I support you in your efforts! Caleb laughs and says he supports my efforts.
12:10pm In the bathroom – Frankie comments on how in his HOH letter it was great but he wished it could have said more about how the family is doing and if Grandpa and Nona are okay.
In the kitchen – Jocasta, Amber, Donny, and Brittany are eating and talking. Donny talks about how one night Devin woke him up to tell him that he doesn’t believe who he says he is. Donny says I told him well I am who I say I am but it doesn’t matter does it. Amber says it really doesn’t matter, its no reason to put someone up. Brittany says we’ve been up so many times people just put us up because it’s easier. They discuss how it gets harder to nominate people as time goes on.
1pm – 1:20pm Donny plays a game with Jocasta and Amber. He gets them to cover their eyes and he puts up things to their noise for them to guess what it is. He gets them to smell peanut butter, cranberry juice, lemonade, cinnamon, garlic salt, soy sauce, pickles, tums, hand lotion, etc. Amber and Jocasta enjoyed the game and said it helped pass the time.
1:30pm In the bathroom – Donny, Amber, Jocasta and Victoria are chatting about random things like their favorite jobs. Amber says that her favorite job was in Charlotte a couple years ago. Donny says that he was there then too. I probably flirted with you. Jocasta starts talking about her bow ties and how lots of people ask her about them and where to get them. Donny suggests she make them and sell them for charity. Jocasta says that’s a good idea. They talk about how Victoria doesn’t talk to them. Donny says that he understands because some people you just don’t have anything in common with. Victoria joins them to go to the washroom and then leaves. Amber heads to bed.
2pm – 2:15pm Victoria / Jocasta and Donny are the only house guests awake at the moment. Donny and Jocasta are in the bathroom talking. Jocasta talks to Donny about a jewellery store she worked at. She describes how her manager was a racist and didn’t want her to work there. Jocasta says that she would treat it like she was an actress like you have to put on the best show ever every time someone came in to the store. Jocasta and Donny decide to do laps in the house. They start doing laps and Donny says I imagine this is going to be boring to watch. Hayden wakes up. Christine also wakes up.
2:20pm – 2:35pm The cameras quickly switch to the bee hive room where Jocasta is crying. The camera then switches back to the kitchen. Hayden asks Victoria if Brittany campaigned to her? Victoria says yes. Hayden asks what did she say? Victoria says I can’t say. Donny joins them. Hayden tells Donny that he doesn’t need to say goodbye. Did Brittany say her last goodbye? Donny says yeah out in the backyard. Hayden gets on the ground and acts like a dog. Victoria feeds Hayden like a dog and then says “Get up Hayden! You’re freaking me out! I like human Hayden!” Hayden says I like human Victoria better too.
2:40pm Victoria grabs a watermelon from the storage room and brings it to the kitchen. Hayden says nice watermelons! Donny repeats him. Victoria says wow I am such a good watermelon selector! This watermelon looks so good!
2:45pm – 3pm Cody comes down from the HOH room and heads to the bathroom. He asks Christine if she would like to have a hammock date in the birds nest bed. Christine says that she would love that. He tells her to come grab him when she’s ready. She says okay. Cody then joins Hayden, Victoria, Jocasta and Donny in the kitchen. Jocasta asks Hayden what his favorite job has been? Hayden says his 3 favorite have been the pedicab job, limo driver in Boston and track coach. Cody says his is the hosting job that he had before coming in here. Victoria says that her favorite job is the photography business she has right now. Derrick joins them. Jocasta asks Hayden what his worst job was? Hayden says working at a nursing home and having to watch people dying. That and the cigarette shop.
In the bathroom – Brittany talks to Nicole. Brittany tells Nicole I don’t even want to talk game because I feel like no one wants to hear it. She says and I don’t want to talk game either. Brittany tells Nicole that she is hearing that some people are starting to doubt her. I am offering to be put up as a pawn next week if I stay. I just don’t know what to offer, and I’m not going to lie and promise something that I’m not going to do. I feel like I’m okay as long as people speak up about how they are voting. Nicole tells Brittany that she thinks her argument is good and doesn’t need to change anything.
In the hive room – Hayden says that Brittany told him she wants Victoria and Zach out. Hayden says but obviously I am voting her out. Victoria asks why she’s saying that? Hayden says because she’s dumb! She doesn’t know how to play the game. Hayden tells her not to worry about it. They hug and leave the room.
3pm – 3:10pm In the bathroom – Victoria tells Nicole that she’s excited for Thursday to come.. Meanwhile in the kitchen the house guests are eating and talking about their most embarrassing moments. Nicole says hers was last night being drunk and says that’s why she’s slept most of the day away.

Poor Frankie they need to tell him I think he knows somethings wrong.
I feel like that kind of unfair to him. I would be devistated if I missed my Grandfather’s funeral.
Just my opinion.
I seriously Frankie (or most people if they were honest) would be willing to give up a chance at $500k (and a guarenteed $5k a week) to go to a funeral. His grandfather is just as dead whether Frankie attends or not.
I mean he already has 10k at this point and he’ll probably be guaranteed to come back so… I think whether he chooses to leave or not, he deserves to be told and make a choice.
The fact that there is possibility Frankie is going to be told TWO MONTHS from now is absurd! I will probably understand couple of days or one week, but two months is too long. The grandfather meant well but this is something that Frankie will have to deal with for the rest of his life.
Poor Frankie. I think he is feeling something. Rest in peace grandpa.
That’s so sad!! I’m sorry, but it breaks my heart that he mentions his grandpa and his grandpa has passed. I honestly would freak the “f” out if I found out 2 months AFTER my grandpa died.
Esp if he could of been there at the end, I don’t know if I could get past that decision to not tell me if
Perhaps his grandfather was cremated. And they can have a second service for him. I don’t know, just say they could. Or wait. I was thinking he knew it could be a possibility he was so sick, I would have decline to come on the show and spend time with grandfather.
How do we not know he believe in reincarnation? His grandpa could be a fly, or butterfly, etc in the backyard of the BB house. If he leaves his grandpa will be in the backyard by himself with all those boring nuts.
I really don’t know what they should do. But if it was the grandfathers last wishes and they all said ok then they should respect it. This is the real world where telling the truth means something, not the BB house where you lie and anything goes. Now if BB chooses to tell him that’s their choice.
I think they are probably Italian Catholic, but yes there is no reason why they can’t do a memorial service when Frankie is free of the game.
I think they should respect the grandfather’s wishes who didn’t want him told. I think F would be sad by finding out later, but I kind of doubt that it would be a surprise, as it seems like it was expected to happen any time.
i don’t think he should be told because there is the thing that is right for his personal life (the chance of winning) and there is what will be considered by the viewers about the ‘right’ thing to do, meaning leaving the show for this event. If he isn’t told, then staying is something he doesn’t have to choose to do, choosing between having a chance at a better life (as a retired chorus boy) and if he doesn’t choose to leave to look like a chump to the viewers. It’s a no win choice.
I am so sorry for Frankie’s loss. I lost my Grandma 3 mos. ago & cannot imagine not being able to be at her funeral. But she most likely would have done the same thing as Frankie’s Grandpa – they just want the best for us. So – in the end – I think you have to respect someone’s dying wish – & if Frankie’s Grandpa didn’t want the family to tell him – then they really can’t go against him. I think Frankie will understand & love his Grandpa even more. May God be with Frankie & his family.
I’m so sorry for your loss…Grandma’s/ Grandparents are so special!!
Thank You Sandra, Grandparents are indeed special – our own little angels from God!

As someone who lost both his grandparents 5 months apart, they should still tell Frankie about his grandpa. Let him decide if wants to stay or leave. 10 years ago, when my grandma passed away.. I didn’t get to say my last goodbyes.. I left for school and she was awake and resting, I get home and see all my family together thinking it was bingo night at my house. Nope, my grandma was somewhat in a coma. Til this day I wished my mom had got me out of school so I could have said my final goodbyes when she was. Frankie should know.
ok but he isn’t on his death bed here. he is actually already gone. they have had a service. I just don’t know what exactly he would be doing now that he can’t do when out of the house
they didn’t tell people they were fired. I think that is very life changing as well. but also something you can’t deal with while in the house.
Then if he decided to stay you guys would be talking about how awful he was. It’s personal so I think we should just let it stay that way. I think the only thing we should be saying is our condolence.
It sucks that his grandfather died. I think BB will tell Frankie but I have a feeling he will decide to stay in the house to win the $500 G. He would have everyone’s sympathy too. It would take a douche to vote him out after hearing that.
In all fairness, I think BB should either give Frankie the bad news and have him leave, or not tell him at all. Otherwise it has the potential to influence the results.
Has this come up before?
YES 9/11 – they were told and one BB member had a relative that worked at the World Trade Center – the BB members all stayed…
I totally understand why you don’t tell him. they are isolated from the rest of the world and its not direct immediate family as in your mother/father/sisters or brothers.
it doesn’t make that any easier, but this is part of the deal when you go in there. I just don’t know if it would be all that fair for the game. instantly he gains a sympathy for at least a couple weeks that may keep him safe. I don’t know how fair that is when he died 2 months ago and you aren’t supposed to be able to use stuff that happens in the house while you are in the house(not saying he is using it, but it would be in play no matter how much he tried to make it not if he were to stay) it DOES influence the game
I’m quite sure his Grandpa died yesterday….not 2 months ago.
by the end of the game its 2 months
Tough situation all around for the Grande family. However, I’m sure there were lots of talk and decisions made prior to Franke going into the BB house as he already knew his grandfather was sick. With that being said, would someone please evict Caleb to put him out of his misery? (And the other house guests, and us as well?)
When my dad was very sick and I had traveled halfway across my husband and I discussed telling me or not if he died while I was away. I’m sure there was a talk, but regardless, not easy news to receive it is someone you are close too.
I cannot be the only person old enough to remember BB2 when September 11th happened!
It was just plain awkward to watch the houseguests go about their petty affairs. Production decided to inform the hg of the terrorist attacks and had to inform Monica of her cousin missing in the World Trade Center.
She decided to remain in the house, but it left such a bitter taste in my mouth that people would choose BB over family.
Do the current hgs sign a contract stating if they will be told if a member of their family is ill or near death?
Why does Frankie’s sister get to decide if he gets told?
I think his sister is just the spokesperson. I’m sure it’s a family decision.
it was Grandpa Grande’s last wish and Ariana just expressed it to the media as she is in the public eye more than the rest of the family.
Get a grip on reality people! It was a grandparent not a parent. Grandparents are old, and that’s what old people do… they die! It’s science!
Wow well if that’s how you feel I truly feel sorry for you
wow – that’s a terrible and disgusting way to look at it. I was EXTREMELY close to my grandparents – far closer to my grandmother than my own mom, so it was a tragic loss for me. It’s pretty ignorant to say such a thing.
Geeze, you really Are Psycho Caleb!! And one of these days you are going to be Grandpa/Grandma Psycho Caleb – Good Luck with that!
It is terrible of you to say that old people die. It’s scientifically proven that old people sublime into smoke and rise into the sky where they turn into stars. Science.
I also believe a Picture of a Book Worth a Thousand Words so I believe a person has the ability to determine whether a book is valuable to read based on its cover.
The Caleb book cover ( his body) looks great. But he put a thousand words all over it. He talks to much about his 4% body fat, pass girl friends, beast mode, and la la land to much. So I already know that his book is a crime book where guy meets girl, girl don’t like guy. Guy beats girl and say he did it cause he loves her. I’ll pass on that book. Don’t like crime stories.
if an author feels that their book is worth to read, they ought to put in a little bit more time to make their covers appealing to a potential reader.
What does Caleb do. Get a bananas and put a pickle in it. I guys he’s trying to say she don’t like bananas but pickles. Well dumbo give her a pickle then. Give her what she want. Give her a pickle with a diamond inside. Better yet since you into covering things, cover that pickle with the 5 grand you got.
I wish he just Go!
well he went into this game knowing the issues, he doesnt deserve special treatment
If my family member died & im in that house, you mean to tell me you want me to stay & im not guaranteed to win this shit??..NAWL NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!
I’m sorry about the tragedy as well, but that don’t mean I’m gon start rooting for Frankie in this game now because of it…TBH I think CBS/BIGBROTHER production are all full of shit of they dont inform frankie..
Obviously they family & BB crew think he has a 95% chance of winning & I see him lasting for at least 4-5 more weeks if the house doesn’t change…& keeping this from him will be for nothing…
Its stupid af..I just have a BAD feeling about tomorrow..I feel like something has to change or happen..things are to calm & people are getting to comfortable..
telling him means knowing that if he chose to stay people would be judging all over him for staying. either the HGs give him a sympathy pass (and really, who will be able to tell, since he’s not in any danger at all right now of going up), for a week or two, or they also judge him for staying if given the chance to go. While some might be very close to a grandparent, it is still a very expected thing that a sick elderly person who Frankie is currently wondering if he’s OK or not OK might pass on during the time he is in the house.
he should be told if/when he gets to jury tho, i don’t see any reason at all to not tell him if he gets evicted out of the house when it is jury time
In the past if someone had to leave I think all that happens is that they do not do an extra double eviction, or maybe they don’t do a challenge for one person to return to the house if they lose someone thru the show.
I don’t know if the BB site announces anything, but I would be surprised if they did another double HOH this week, or if they do maybe they’ll do the double evict next week so there are again 2 HOHs next week due to the double evict scenario.
There aren’t enough people to put up anymore for 4 nominations and 2 HOHs, with one unable to play the HOH? unless they are carrying it because it means that someone from BS or Detonators will have to be nominated just because there isn’t anyone left after they do the usual Vic, Donny, Jocasta run again.
Nobody forced the family to post the death on social media and get some publicity out of it by going to TMZ. The family could have kept the news private.
I am sure the people he know him best (his family) made a decision they knew would be okay with him. However, ready the sisters comments about how grateful she is to have been there for him in his final days, makes you wonder why they would take that away from him.
You have to tell him about his family.
Are you going to keep him in the dark for the next 2 months
He’s a grown man it’s his decision and I support him in
whatever decision he makes.Let him talk to his parents and go from there.
HIs grandfather has been sick for a long time and the family knew that he didn’t have much time left and he was having problems with the treatments. The family asked his grandfather if they wanted them to tell Frankie and have him come home and his grandfather said no. Frankie went into the house knowing that his grandfather might pass before he got out and the family is respecting the grandfather’s wishes.
Sounds like his grandpa had been sick for a while. Very sad, but have to wonder if he went in to the house knowing this was a possibility and said his peace before he left. If not, I could not imagine noone telling me for 2 months. I hope they had discussed how to handle before he went in and this is what he wanted.
I feel the same way he knew he had a 50/50 chance when he went into the house, I’m sure it was all planned out ahead of time. I believe he has been told and he knows he wanted him to stay, we’ll just watch how he act’s in the coming days.
I think it’s very admirable and touching that a lot of people have sent condolences and voiced their opinion as to what ‘should’ be done about Frankie’s grandfather’s passing, but the people who know him best made the best decision and that is solely their responsibility, not ours.
I trust they know what they’re doing, considering they are his closest loved ones, not us.
It’s none of our business.
Peace.
Well said GGM!!
RIP Grandpa
I can’t see any reason why he couldn’t be told in the Jury House.
It would be pretty shitty if they didn’t tell him and he got voted out next week.
All of the examples of what people would and wouldn’t do in the above commenys are apples and oranges. No one here has had $500k on the line with an excellent chance of winning it, with a long-time ill relative, and has to be holed up in a house in order to win it. Honor the grandfathers dying wish, honor whatever agreement and “goodbyes” Frankie may have made or “what if” arrangements with his grandfather before he left. You only live once and his grandfather, at his age, knew this, which is why he had the family promise not to tell. . He probably had an unrealized dream or two himself. Maybe gramps will send an angel his way, as my grandmother and dad have done on numerous occassions since their passing. RIP.
Beautiful T4trble! & Amen!!
Love You, Frankie. Knowing Frankie’s loving heart, ai bet he’s super close to his Grandparents. Deeply sorry for your lost, Frankie. The Grande Family is honoring Frankie’s Grandfather’s wish by not telling him. Frankie will be sad but he will understand that it was what his Grandfather wanted.
Frankie now has a loving heart according to people here, he went from being a “snake” and “andy 2.0” to getting sympathy. its natural, but it clouds your view of him in the game.
that said I hope they add Zach to Team America and FORCE derrick to work with him, its the only way to screw with that guy’s game right now
He is still an irratating idiot regardless!!!!
wait so brit wants to stay to get an HOH win and get zach ATTACK out of the house?
goodbye brit, nice knowing you
No comments about the pickle thing?
Caleb is beginning to look almost less pathetic and more pantomime. Remember the cartoon skunks? I forget their names….
Pepe la Phew
Losing a parent or grandparent is one of the hardest things we must face. I hope Frankie was well aware of how ill his Grandpa was when he entered the house. If his family feels it is better that he not be told, then their wishes must be respected. I just hope that Frankie does not resent them for the decision at some point. It would not be fair to tell him and allow him to remain in the house as he would be receiving sympathy passes for everything. I recall a Survivor show where a participant arranged to have a friend tell him his Grandpa died. It resulted in great sympathy.
Okay – now can we mind our own business? If Frankie wasn’t in BB right now, we would have heard nothing about it. Gaining sympathy for a houseguest is going to sway America’s view of him. That’s not fair IMO. As I stated above; his loved ones know what to do and that’s that.
So now about Jocasta’s bowtie’s – really? You can buy them anywhere. Maybe she can draw her eyebrows in the shape of a bowtie?
I’m prepared to catch heat, that being said Frankie is a grown man. He knew the situation when he signed on. Telling him and him staying would only garner sympathy. Which isn’t fair to the other houseguests . Grandparents are incredibly special. Unfortunately grandparents pass everyday.
add that to the “dying wish” being that he isn’t told, and I am surprised its even a question. if he really had that as his dying wish for Frankie to not know, then he should not know. respect a dead man’s final wish in regards to his grandson. I have hopes that people would respect that if it were my decision and my final wish for him
I feel terrible for poor Frankie. Tough decision for the family whether or not he gets told because of the dying wish.
He deserves our sympathy however he wont get my respect for his gameplay because hes a weasel that talks a lot of shit behind peoples backs like in 7th grade.
the down votes against a dying wish make no sense, and you provide no context to your vote. frustrating
Hayden saying Brittany does not know how to play the game? Does he know? The only thing he was done was to say “YES” for Devin to get on Bomb Squad.
This kid is so naive, stupid, ugly, annoying, useless.
Sympathy and prayers to Frankie and family. And I actually think Caleb’s banana/pickle idea is kinda of clever and probably the best idea he’s had so far. He’s definitely obsessed with Amber, and it does makes for good entertainment, though Amber’s parents are probably not too impressed.
Frankie will never get my sympathy! He is a Rat/Snake
and fame-whore! Now his sister I sympathize for.
She seems like a decent person. Watching the feeds
has been unbearable this season with Frankie in the game.
Watch after all this publicity with his Grandpa dying, everyone
will resume to hating Frankie again.
Remember growing up always being told that beauty is only skin deep, well IMO Cody can be the most handsome man in the world for all I care, cause that man is just out-right ugly to me! He is the male version of Christine, who got whacked with a double whammy cause she is ugly on both fronts! You know we all realize that this is a game and it requires lies and deceit however with that being said, these people are just mean for the sake of being mean! The things being said have no bearing on their game or anything having to do with BB, so WTF is wrong with these people! Seriously they are on national TV do they not realize that they are being seen by millions, and that there will not be rerpricussions! (sp?) I know America is full of intelligent people so doing the ratio thing, how did every single “idiot” in America end up on the same season? I mean the odds are astronomical at best! lol (once again just my opinion)
When you have little to nothing to do… and live in a state of constant paranoia you will say some mean things in that house. The irony of your response is that you’re mean just for the sake of being mean. Now imagine YOURSELF in that house.
