Preamble: I’m struck by memories of bbcan12 houseguests discussing the pre-season lecture that houseguests received regarding optics in the third digital daily. The non POC houseguests were informed of what questioning the existence of a race based alliance could mean in terms of houseguest social media cancellation, and informed to always be aware of optics (ie/ putting all POC on the block is a bad look). IF the same is told to usbb houseguests in their lecture… is the playing field even? I mean, this season we’ve seen discussion where Leah and Quinn talked about the optics of all of Quinn’s noms being POC and whether or not he was worried about cancellation, whereas 2 POC HOH’s only nom’d white houseguests… and not a word was uttered even with the knowledge that those HOH’s were part of a racial bias pact. I’m not saying let’s do a white power alliance on BB, I’m saying in an even and equitable casting situation… only some houseguests are told they have to be cognizant of optics… and I’m not sure I like that. The old 16 people are cast and enter, only 1 can win so 15 people have to leave thoughts enter my head.

i’m wondering if chelsie was worried kimo/angela had a side deal. the way that convo went seemed more about getting makensy on the block than saving rubina and to say he would vote angela rather than how chelsie wanted also doesn’t play to chelsie’s ego. ultimately kimo’s just bad at the game and chelsie maybe overthought it, but i think he may have inadvertently saved makensy.
I felt that the moment Chels said Angela target no matter what so who do we pawn Mak or… and Kimo said Rubina, I think perhaps Chelsie thought she wasn’t getting conned on her own HOH. Then with Rubina I think we were cut off from hearing Rubina volunteer as long as she was guaranteed.

chelsie definitely phrased the conversation in a way to try to get info from kimo. had he said “i don’t care” or “keep rubina safe” that was the better play. i don’t think there was any game naming makensy because he doesn’t have much game, but i think chelsie maybe read into it cuz she was definitely fishing.
that was the other possibility with the Rubina convo. did she volunteer or did she ask if they wanted to take the big shot. IT WAS Chelsie that put that in her head as a possibility.

Chelsie won the season the minute MJ renom Leah. Chelsie knows Rubina and Kimo can’t win anything. They all go to Chelsie and she knows that too. She knows Cam and MJ are her shields, both think they are going to the F2 with her, and both stay in her good graces. NOT ONE of the remaining 4 would EVER evict her, which is the only way she wouldn’t win.

Been taking care of a post surgical family member this week while attempting to stay involved. The medication every four hours bit…. I thought ii could integrate it seamlessly with feed checks…. but that’s not happening well. lmao.

It was smart for Chelsie to keep Makensy. They’re the biggest comp threats left and are mutual shields for each other. Chelsie can just tell Kimo/Rubina “Look at Makensy!” and they’ll listen.
This next week will come down to the comps and/or social game. If MJ wins HOH and Chelsie wins Veto, it will be very interesting to see who goes out next.
yeah, chelsie can’t risk makensy going on chelsie’s hoh (somewhat surprised she didn’t throw, but i guess she couldn’t throw until angela was out so she had to win to stop angela). makensy would be super bitter and you may end up with makensy, angela, leah, and quinn all voting anyone but chelsie in the final. at this point i do think it’s the whole house vs. makensy now though.

Two thoughts:
(1) What is up with tiebreakers being lost to Chelsie because her opponents suck at math?
(2) If you’re a trio, why the hell do you keep a duo in the game?
The 5 had a declared but not ratified final 5.
The duo in the trio have a final 4 with the other duo. twice. C/M have a 4 with Kimo and Rubina…. and C/C have a 4 with Kimo and Rubina.
Chelsie has a final 3 with Cam and Mak. Chelsie has a final 3 with Kimo Rubina thanks to T’kor. Chels has stated or implied final 2 with everyone except Kimo.
THAT is why they keep the duo.
They think they’re protected, but if Kimo or Rubina wins veto, one of C/C is up and all it takes is MJ with a wild hair, and one of them is gone.
With Angela, the vote against wasn’t guaranteed. They’re playing stupid.
Also cause they are lame at comps.
rubina and kimo have consistently shown they SUCK at competitions. angela may be the weakest physically, but is a real threat in competitions without a physical element.
