Take your first look at the newly redesigned Big Brother 24 house! This seasons theme is a “retro BB motel” vibe. Julie Chen stated “the house is this very Palm Springs, mid-century Palm Springs feel – neon lights. We’re calling it the “BB Motel,” you know, you can check in, but you can’t check out. You don’t really wanna check out (laughs). You don’t wanna get evicted. You wanna stay in the BB Motel. So it has that whole feel to it this year. Retro.” “We’re gonna have a tiki bar at the bridge upstairs outside the HOH suite. And we’re going to have a gym that feels like it’s a spin class.

Tell us your thoughts of the house design / theme so far from this sneak peek. To me its definitely got an old school BB vibe to it and the cast is an older cast than usual. Hopefully that’s a good sign for what’s to come this season..

The 16 all new house guests will move into the house tomorrow night for the live move in premiere!

Sure does look very old school BB. My favorite one in a long time. Sometimes less is more. I’m a little confused about the door to the backyard? Someone plz explain. lol

I PRAY TO GOD ALL THE MESS WE HAVE HAD TO PUT UP WITH ISN’T IN THE HOUSE THIS YEAR! STOP THE RACIST MESS. IF YOU PLAY WELL THEN YOU STAY BUT IF YOU ARE BAD ( NO MATTER WHAT YOUR RACE IS) YOU HAVE TO GO! AND I LOVE THE HOUSE THIS YEAR. HAVE NOT IS NOT TOO BAD. WE HAVE ALL SLEPT ON BLOW-UPS BEFORE CAMPING. I DON’T WANT TO SEE WHITE AND BLACKS GO AGAINST WHITES AND SO ON! I WOULD LIKE TO SEE OLD-SCHOOL RULES AND IF THEY BREAK THEM THE GO ON THE BLOCK.

The Games Have Changed

There’s only two white women that is a series low, which I’m sure makes Julie Chen happy. The majority race in this season are black houseguests.
7 houseguest are black; 4 of which are women. The unfortunate reality is that it’s not crazy to suspect that CBS WANTs a black women to win considering that there has never been one before. It’s a real possibility we could see a race war again like last season ugh this game has now become personal basing decisions based on appearance rather than strategy. Tiffany and Hannah were a prime example of that!

hey. Don’t know how much i will be around for a while, but…

  1. It appears Marvin is no longer a houseguest? A 24 year old lawyer named Joseph will be the replacement Marvin. No clue why… okay, i think maybe appearing on a competing network reality show this season might have something to do with it, the no compete for x amount of time clause BOTH networks have in their contracts for reality contestants. IF i had to guess.
  2. I think the point of late cast reveal is so that the social media fanbase wouldn’t have time to deep dive and muckrake. All things considered in social media land… maybe announcing the cast five minutes before the premiere is the way they should go ‘cus it took all of 0.3 seconds before twitter started twitterpating.
  3. So muckraking: no dives, no research, but some of this cast looks like a d-list bad 80’s movie, that would have gone straight to video… and only available on beta. blink blink. grimace. Yup, i’m being that shallow.
  4. while trying to convince yourself that the power’s that be have changed their format in terms of casting… not so much tbh. How many are wannabe social media star type or social media influencer type wannabes? That many? wide eyed no blinking stare. More than a few are recruits not applicants? Honestly, they’ve kept the same boxes, they just removed the color coding. A couple of the stuntcasts are pretty obvious.

Advice… take it, don’t take it, I don’t give a rat’s ass: Start the season off by saying there are 16 people playing big brother this season, and leave it at that.
