It’s finally over. Big Brother 19 was a bizarre season and something tells me the drama has just begun with the show finally over. I hope you all enjoyed the site this year it was fun as always. This was the first year we ran the ranking system. I’m glad it lasted this long without any major bugs. I’ll be expanding on this system for next year adding some bells and whistles and making it more portable. Thanks again for everyone’s valuable feedback. Kinda funny after the type of game Paul and his minions were playing they tanked in the ranking and stayed there the entire season. I wonder if any of them will stumble upon it. They all (for the most part) hated Cody and while we didn’t like Cody we hated them more therefore Cody was the beneficiary of the fan support it seems. All it would take is ONE person to go against Paul and they captured a HUGE chunk of the feed fans and cat people. Funny almost nobody else has what it takes.

Cody told Alex if Paul was in final 2 he’d vote for PAul to win, but I think he said it in an attempt to break through the mist and get someone to go after Paul. I don’t think he ever meant it. What Cody meant when he said, “I kept my word” and looked at the jury members is that he said in the jury house that he’d never let Paul win, giving the jury the heads up on how he would vote. He reiterated that after Elena, Mark and then Jason came into the jury. They talk about Paul’s betrayals, being in F2 with all except Cody, and mentioning that Paul thinks he’ll win…Cody said, “Paul’s got another thing coming,” or something like that. So Cody was telling the jury…I’m voting for Josh, NOT PAUL…He would never vote for Paul to win.
Last night on the live feeds Josh was talking about the jury and saying, “Yeah we terrorized them, we played them.” He knew what they did to the HGs, the terrible tactics they, the three stooges, used. Even tonight when Xmas was evicted, Paul said to her, “THROW YOUR CRUTCH AT CODY.” What the hell is Paul’s problem. It’s not enough what those three did to the HGs, they still talk trash,even last night, and literally are cruel. Why does Paul say that to xmas tonight? He’s just trash and hateful.

My favorite moment was watching Paul walk his floaty back to a room ( with his luggage) Paul was so certain that he was going to win that he had already planned to walk out wearing the floaty while being named winner of BB19.
I missed that on the live show but when I rewatched the episode I did see Paul grab the floaty that he had on the couch and head back to the bedroom with it. Awesome.

I must say that had Paul watched BB Can this year, Sindy with a “S” would have taught him a great lesson: jury management is very important. Paul completely ignored that.
Once again Paul lost because of his lack of empathy and for knowing himself too little. Last year he didn’t apologize for some terrible things he said to the girls while in the house, and the worst: they kinda hinted with one of their questions that he needed to do so. This year, again, he lost for LYING to everyone in the goodbye messages more than just evicting everyone. I commented days ago how I loved that CBS edited the goodbye speeches in a way that showed Paul lying and Josh spilling the beans right after it. GENIUS! Paul is a very rude person and needs to mature.
Jessica’s comments were so on point that I think I need to download that clip and laugh at the jury members forever.
I hope Paul doesn’t come back as one of the “celebrities”… it’d be annoying as hell. They need to let him go! So tired of him. His pouting is so annoying but watching him lose a second time was priceless.

Yes. xmas thinks we are buying into the fake on-air persona she puts on. She’s another snake. Notice Julie didn’t buy into it and the audience didn’t clap when she gave her “inspirational bull.” Talk about how you said to Josh you would murder families, and all the other vile things. Then the live show comes on, and she cries and smiles and talks so sweetly. She’s another piece of work. CBS should have never let her stay once she was injured. But she was there to help Paul so guess she got a pass.
It was very obvious to most on this board that Josh would win. On other websites the less sophisticated fans who do not grasp “reality” tv were overwhelmingly predicting a Paul win. For those of you that are shocked by the ending…please keep in mind that this is “reality” tv (which is almost as “real” as pro wrestling). Stop thinking of what’s best for the players and start thinking of what’s best for production. Production had hours and hours and hours to convince Josh in the diary room that Paul was the one to take to the final two. We wanted to see Paul exposed and humbled. We wanted Paul to have a great fall. A fitting end for a puppet master…ultimately defeated by a simpleton who almost self-destructed on week 1. One of Paul’s puppets showed a bit of cunning and blew up Paul’s game in goodbye messages. Paul felt so betrayed and the viewers just laughed really hard. Lastly, the look on some of the puppets faces when Cody was announced as AFP was also priceless.
To the person that was talking about the DR sessions. That was one of the weird things about this season They called the HGi nto the DR alot this season and for long periods of time yet we didnt get to see hardly any DR funny sad or orherwise! They can be hilarious. So what WERE they doin in there all thoae times O wonder?
That’s one of the things people are talking about when they say production interferes in the DR.
Production has two ongoing storylines at any given time. They will have the houseguests repeat similar lines and statements over and over until they get the exact words and delivery they want.
Once the houseguests are worn down, they can start asking questions.
“So, do you think you can trust Paul?” (houseguest talks at length about how they can trust Paul, they’re asked to rephrase and repeat for the “best take”)
“Raven has been spending a lot of time with Paul this week. Do you think she’s trying to take him away from you?”
It’s pretty easy to plant ideas if you have enough time and enough repetition.
I watched half the season and kept up with it on this site. I love it when true justice is done. Paul loses and Cody gets favorite player. America is a great place. We reward honesty and true grit. Josh is a fool but at least he likes his family. I am hoping Paul has anal gaping on knowing he got f’d.

Paul sat there after every comment or segment shaking his head denying his part, then calls out Josh as a coward for out smarting Paul in the DR’s. Josh wasn’t a coward Paul, he was genius in thinking to do that…give the man credit where credit is do and stop being a know it all. I am a Paul fan, however weeks ago, it was just too much, and I began hoping for Josh to win.
It’s the day after and we have to deal with the “paul deserved to win” morons. One of them happens to be Julie Chen. You are talking about some other game if you believe so and so DESERVED to win. Big Brother is not about who Julie Chen thinks deserved to win or who the viewers at home think deserved to win. The whole game is crushing people’s dreams, sending them to jury and sitting next to somebody who will get LESS jury votes than you. The jury can be bitter. That’s actually allowed. The jury can all decide to flip coins for their jury vote. It still won’t mean the other person deserved it more. It’s on the contenstant to connect with jury members in a way that makes them feel good about actually voting for you. If you want to make final 3 deals with everybody and then have to stab your jury in the back and leave them betrayed and not even own up to what you did…then you probably played a game good enough to earn second place. It wasn’t just a game this season. Did you watch the live feeds. The harassment, bullying, cruelty that they displayed was degrading and despicable. TMZ was reporting on the Hg’s behavior as unsavory and chargeable offenses legally. They said Paul should be brought up on charges. Paul/Josh badgered and berated and attacked non stop. Even this week on the feeds they were speaking so terribly about the Hgs. Tonight when xmas was evicted, Paul told her to throw her crutch at Cody! Give me a break. These three enjoy hurting people. Especially Paul who took joy in inflicting pain. That’s not game. It’s cruelty when you delight in other’s misery and keep hitting when someone’s done or gone already. Enough.

And I think Cody is a person of few words. He’s a war hero, whether you like him or not, and he’s been fighting in both Afghanistan and Iraq for years with medal of honor. He deserved AFP. i found it pretty telling when paul lost part 3 of the hoh that he didn’t bother to get to know any of the houseguests on a personal level (josh didn’t do much better, but he did do better).

night. Paul played everyone. I personally truly believe if Jessica had spoken before the vote, Paul would have won. A disappointing season all the way around.
personally paul losing saved the season for me (josh thus winning being an element i’d rather not focus on).
but that’s the error in paul’s game (that also hurt him last year). you need to be able to vote them out actively willing to still vote for you, or at least have a pitch that you made genuine connections with them while they were there. but paul made the erroneous decision to play it off like it was all a game, and when people have perceived a connection with you where you’re not making it clear where the line is, they have to assume he’s completely dishonest and not worthy of their respect or vote.
ultimately this is a social game, and paul blew it because it’s not about how well you play the game “stats-wise” but it’s about the relationship you have with a very non-impartial jury (and acknowledging who can separate game from personal and who can’t). people don’t make decisions because they’re logically sound, they make decisions emotionally. paul sucked at recognizing that aspect last year, he sucked at it again this year.
i don’t think jessica would have changed people’s minds. after all, dr. will definitely seemed to be trying to steer the jury towards paul and clearly did not succeed.

Actually, Paul KNOWS Josh is a dumb a$$, which makes it hurt that much more that he lost to him after leading him around by the nose and using him for the entire season! This was one of those “You can’t make chicken salad out of chicken sh@t” situations, as far as I was concerned, as clearly Paul dominated the entire cast throughout the season, but if you are dominating a herd of sheep, have you really accomplished anything?
Despite Josh’s claims of making “big moves”, and outing “shady” players, in reality he just did what the gnome told him to do, and he did it over and over and over again. I mean, the way they were throwing comps around in the herd, and evicting the weekly (read “Paul’s”) target, it was almost like the entire cast outside of Paul was just floating along, expecting him to take each of them to the finale.
So I don’t think any of them did anything to deserve to win other than Paul. Having said that, given the way he played, his lack of jury management and the bullying, I’m glad Josh won in the end (maybe should say was “awarded” the victory, since I can’t see how in the Hell he beat Paul). Was even happier to see Cody win AFP as a final FU to the worst excuse of a BB cast that CBS has ever put together.

I honestly think Paul not owning his game during the Q&A is what lost it for him. He deflected every question. It’s Paul’s fault for not owning his game. He decided to let Alex and Jason believe, till the very end, that they were his alliance and he had their back the whole way. Even lied to them in his goodbye message. They had to learn of his true game from Josh and the rest of jury. After clearly backstabbing them, rather than owning up, he decided to stick to his lies and continue playing innocent after their games were over. And they weren’t buying any of it. Horrible lasting impression to leave on jurors whose votes he should’ve had locked up.
I put on Smokey Robinson’s Tears of a Clown because Paul is a clown who will be crying (again) all night now that the cameras are off and the reality that he sucks sinks in.

Paul could have won if he owned his game. He chose to lie even at final 2. If he was truthful, then he would have gotten the votes. But to sit there and lie, of course you won’t get the votes. I said it when I saw Josh own his game in the goodbyes that Paul did not think that part through. He is not the smartest has he wanted everyone to believe. He is the reason he lost, not the jury.
He laid it out for them.. he said he had a hand in every HOH, made and placed targets ahead of him… I think thats clear. The jury would not have voted for him regardless, they were all bitter they were outplayed. lame.

How much do you guys think the jury votes based on the player who is most helped by production? Is it possible that the jurors are just as or more bitter over the game being stacked for Paul from the beginning? That said, they still handed him the game. It seems rather likely that the players were strongly influenced by production to align with and trust Paul. But it was on them to read through the BS. Jason was the only one but he couldn’t turn on Paul by himself with a house full of sheeple and production against him. I always thought that was how Derrick won–he played production as well as the house. Maybe Josh’s win was as much an FU to production as it was Paul.
100% convinced Paul there was nothing Paul could have said or done during the Q&A that would have swayed votes. Raven and Matt totally lost him the game. Their support of Paul and the growing hatred of them in jury really seemed like spite votes by Mark, Elena, and Cody. I think if they weren’t in the jury Elena and Mark could have been easily convinced to vote for Paul.

I think Paul played the best game and deserved to win. I think the rest of the cast weren’t very smart and allowed themselves to get played by a master manipulator. Congrats to Paul – it was masterful in that regard. Most other juries get over themselves and vote for who played the best game. This jury did not, and that’s why Josh won. Cody’s a jerk who didn’t deserve a protest vote. Most of the commenters here who hate Paul and Christmas are delusional, way too wrapped up in this, and need to get a life. The end. Why was Josh allowed to say all that in his goodbye messages? I thought the jury was sequestered so they would not know what is going on in the game and therefore be able to be objective somewhat. I don’t think that was fair and Josh’s explanation was stupid.

At the end of the day a combination of a bitter jury and people resentful to the amount of help Production gave Paul killed her plan. The meatball was a better choice than rewarding Production for a rigged game. This may have been the smartest move these idiots made all season.

I think Paul would have won except for his jury speech where he once again insulted their intelligence by lying to them.
For the first time this season, I liked the edit. The minions were shown to be the fools they were and laughed at publicly for their Paul worship. Both Jessica and Julie got to call them out for seeming to want to lose to Paul. They must feel like idiots now. And they even saw their god laughing at them and calling them his puppets. Sweet!
Then they had to see the guy the whole house hated the most win AFP. Loved that Cody got to cast the deciding vote to deny Paul that victory he is so convinced he deserves.
Given that Jessica said she would have voted for Paul, I bet he wishes he had told his lackeys to let her make it to jury. He was so determined to send her home before jury and it cost him half a mil!

The Good Doctor is being pretty tame. SPOILER —- HIghlight…. during Josh’s interview, Dr Will brings up Paul slapping Josh. Josh doesn’t remember and there are people off-camera telling Dr WIll not to talk about it. Dan Gheesling texts Dr WIll and tells him Paul slapped Josh 4 times. Josh freaks out that Dan texted. “This live video event has ended”
Dan texted Dr. Will to tell him he APPLIED to Big Brother 4 times. (Dr. Will asked him to).
I was calling josh, Paul for the first half of the episode (2nd place to a vet) but I’ve been telling everyone usually jury can shake their bitterness and vote for the most deserving but not this jury! Kinda figured this is how it would turn out even if josh bombed his speech and his answers didnt make sense. As soon as I heard jury ask Paul questions in regards to “bullying” and “backstabbing” it was sealed for Paul. I didn’t like the last half of the show but the finale was the best yet! Paul’s face, Cody AFP, ravens face as she clung to Paul. Amazing. This is what I waited for! Paul played “okay” but I think it was his cockiness that left a sour taste in my mouth. Derrick was waaaaaay more humble about it
Paul didn’t own up to his lies because he didn’t know josh confessed in his gbm. So josh, being a step ahead, took Paul knowing that he can outplay him by taking the brunt and owning it, but at the same time reflecting the shadiness part back at Paul. It was a perfect move.

Folks, Julie chen and CBS may have heard from the fans and made Grodner go back and redo this finale. This was not the expected coronation of Paul. Someone pulled the rug from under paul. And I dont think it was Allison Grodner. CBS gave the fans exactly what they wanted. What has been posted on this site for weeks. CBS could not fix the season, but they stepped in and fixed the finale. A humbled jury, a paul loss, an xmas loss, and cody for AFP. Some pretty good damage control! And a smart move because I dont think we will ever see this type of bullshit next year.

WOO HOO…I finally got home from the hospital- first time grandma to a 8lb baby boy. Congrats to Dawg on being a first time daddy. I watched the season finale- and thank God, it’s OVER. Congrats to Baby Huey on winning the 500,000 and the biggest loser getting 2nd place again…HA HA HA. Always a bridesmaid never a bride according to Julie…LOL. Cody winning AFP- the biggest F-U- To production and all the meatballs. Manson should of owned up to all his bull$hit and might of won…but that psycho couldn’t wouldn’t do it. I’d been reading rumors for laughs this week. The rumors of the jury pulling a mutiny on their handlers and being obstinate this week in the juryhouse made me chuckle. Production worrying about reaction to the season over the past couple of days was another one… didn’t make me chuckle, but made me roll my eyes that now they worry? Worse… the rumor that Christmas’ people have already negotiated her return next season… long ago negotiated. Like we need that again.
I’m still not impressed with the season.
I still dislike Josh. I always disliked Paul.
Megan had the right idea. I feel like we’re all suffering from ptsd due to this season.
I am so happy. I don’t care that Josh won but I’m happy because Paul was crying. He more than anyone should have known the cost of poor jury management. He didn’t own his game and that was the consequences. I know that it must have killed him inside to know that he did what no one else has done. He made it to the final twice and lost twice. That’s going to eat at him for a long time. This shows that bullying doesn’t get a reward, no matter how well you played the game.

I have friends who were at the final tonight and after party. Sent pics with most of the cast. Stated that Cody is a “dick” in person. Alex is bitter and that Jess was right – Paul played the game and should have won. Votes were bitter votes period. CBS tossed Paul under the bus. They had interesting convo’s with the cast this evening.

Paul was edited to win from week one. CBS threw him under the bus? Considering they threw Jessica under the bus (hence the bold and beautiful appearance as a mea culpa).
Given Production has an earwig on Will during the hours long round table, being fed lines of inquiry to get jurors to vote according to storyline, CBS should have made the hold out jurors better offfers. They should have given a couple of them the Davonne deal she got to vote for Nicole last season, or something comparable. Why should Paul get sympathy? He was brought in as a production tool. He was given multiple advantages in the ‘game’. Others that wouldn’t follow Paul-centric storyline were informed they’d be leaving. When the advantage of completing the Paul deal was lost, production shifted in order to attempt to regain some of the false legitimacy they’d already lost.
this was a bitter game so why would we assume the votes would not have also been bitter.

Omg the Dr Will after show interviews are ridiculous! He’s letting all of the houseguest tell us how great they are and played the game. Paul thinks he was robbed, Raven thinks she has integrity and is so smart. It’s sickening!
I got the feeling Will was actually being overly dry sarcastically, and Raven never caught on that he was actually trolling her.
Observations from the Big Brother 19 Season Finale:
When Paul and Josh were in the “good-bye group hug” with Christmas, Paul gave a death stare directly into the camera. I imagine that was his “mission accomplished” signal. There also seemed to be a hint of ” I’m almost rid of these patsies. Soon I can drop the pretext.”
Ahh, but as it turned out, he just couldn’t hold it together any longer. Right after the jury “interrogation,” as the network was taking a station break, Josh tried to reach for Paul’s hand and Paul was not having it. Josh looked surprised and tried to put an arm around Paul’s neck and Paul literally turned his back and pulled as far away from him as possible without getting up from his chair. Josh seemed to be asking, “what’s wrong, buddy?”
Josh, who had just proclaimed how intelligent he is, still struggles with reading social clues. Paul was beginning to sense that the same jury ( with the exception of Cody) whom he had eating out of the palm of his hand all summer, and who had relied upon him for their every move in the game, had awakened from their long summers’ nap and begun to think for themselves. Happy guy, Josh, was hopeful and optimistic, but totally confused by Paul’s sudden mood swing. The “old Paul” was back. You know, the guy who does not tolerate opposition to his rule, who lashes out verbally and aims to destroy the spirit of anyone who challenges his “authority.” (Or as Eric Cartman would say, “my authoriTAY.”) Sorry, I couldn’t resist…
Problem: “Old Paul” was forced to put a lid on that version of himself because, for the first time, all season, he was no longer seated on his throne. His “Subjects” were holding all of the power.
And then came the speeches. Both Paul AND Josh were bundles of nerves. What Paul said was factually accurate and, as expected, well-rehearsed. What Josh said was at times, delusional, mainly because he had forgotten how many of his “victories” were orchestrated by Paul. Alas, when Josh’s speech turned into Dead air on Live TV, Paul having pulled himself together during the station break, gave Josh a reassuring tap on the leg.
The post-mortem commentary by the non-jury/ earlier evictees lightened the mood a bit and Paul’s spirits seemed lifted. He didn’t much appreciate Josh’s DR farewells wherein Josh put him on blast. Interesting… Paul really had hoped to get through this with “no blood on my hands.” And the one he viewed as his most dim bulb was the only one able to shine a spotlight on Paul’s shade.
In terms of body language, Josh was open, with feet flat on the floor and (when he wasn’t clutching Paul’s hand), seated with his arms positioned comfortably on the chair’s armrest. He was happy to be there and ready to accept whatever the jury decided.
Paul- not so much. In general, he sat with his arms either folded, or hands clasped in his lap; his legs were crossed. But for what seemed like Josh’s insistence upon holding hands (in friendship)— at one point, he even kissed the back of Paul’s hand, while clutching it— it didn’t seem as though hand-holding would have been Paul’s preference.
And then came the votes: Both assumed “let us pray” posture, while holding hands. For one brief, shining moment, Paul almost allowed himself to exhale. But then came the body blow. Ohhh, the frustration… Not again!!! Noooo… This can’t be happening!!! Julie:”And the final vote? Cody!”
Josh emerged victorious!! For those who thought taking Paul to Final 2 would be a death knell to Josh’s game, apparently not. Yes, yes, under ordinary circumstances Paul would have won. But there was nothing ordinary about this season. A bitter jury pooled their resources and handed over the big money to Josh. We will never know what would have happened had Josh and Christmas turned the tables on Paul, because Christmas forgot why she was there. I suspect she was as surprised as Paul that Josh won. She certainly didn’t vote for him. Hard to say what she meant when she said her vote was, “100% game move.” Yoo hoo, Christmas!! The time for “game moves” is when you’re still in the house!! The “game” portion has concluded if you and the other HGs are being asked to cast your “final votes.”
Time to exit the Big Brother house, fellas!!! Paul faked a congratulatory hug and kept it moving. Josh attempted to exit WITH his new best friend, Paul. Paul waved him off so he could take a “moment.” Josh exited the house, the confetti flowed, and Paul’s exit was masked, no doubt, as he intended.
For some fans, the only thing sweeter would have been Paul on the jury, deciding between Christmas and Josh. I don’t suppose Paul is giving thanks that he didn’t come in third. Once again, a single vote stood between him and the thing he coveted most. Paul was awarded yet another second-place finish and was left dazed and confused. Julie asked his opinion on why things turned out this way and all he could offer up was, “I don’t know. The stats were there.”
And so, Paul, in the immortal words of your favorite underling, “Ya played ya self.”
Now then, class, what have we learned? Well, for one thing, people can tolerate being defeated by a better player. But, what really frosts their cookies is being made to feel foolish in the process. And they might even have taken some ownership for their own part in contributing to that feeling. But what seems to have been unforgivable for this group was the unnecessary and WAY over the top ABUSE that accompanied each eviction. So, I guess the big lesson learned is that people will put up with a lot, but they must be able to walk away with their dignity intact. Kevin is a good sport and is mature enough to know that the crap-fest that played out in the house changes nothing in his real life. Matt, Raven, and Christmas are like battered children, still trying to please their abuser.
And Paul may never understand why everyone didn’t just “shake it off.”. For all his spectacularly impressive skills at bending people to his will, he never learned when enough was enough. Lines were crossed, his success went to his head, and he became abusive, even toward his “followers.”
I guess it’s true: Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely. Also, Big Brother, at it’s heart, is still about people, NOT STATS.
Ahhh, but there was still one more bit of business to which Julie Chen was obliged to attend: America’s Favorite Player. Who could it be? Who could it be?? None other than Jessica’s favorite Marine and Houseguest, CODY!!!! He clearly did not expect it. Jason and Kevin would likely have been less shocked.
Soooo, Cody cast the final vote to defeat Paul; and Cody AND Kevin each won $25,000. And Alex gets to reflect on her part in Paul’s abuses. Raven will out-live us all. Josh won’t remember anything except tonight, but will learn about tax laws. The others will lick their wounds and move on. And Christmas will still be on December 25th…

My favorite part about tonights finale was knowing how upset Paul was at losing the season and the anxiety he must have felt over Raven hanging all over him making those stupid faces at the camera with her lips. His consolation prize is Raven… a prize so fitting for him. hahaha… and poor stupid Matt… lol My second favorite part was shitmas not getting anything! The ride home was worth it.
Simon and Dawg are true heroes for enduring this season minute by minute. Good on ya guys and we will see you again soon (or reading soon).

I hope you can respect that and not v ote out of pure bitterness…America is watching.”

Exactly! Finial 2 is where you tell what you did and why you did it. Not sit and lie more. The Jury knew what he did and he still would not own up to it. He played the game before and should know this. Josh showed he was a super fan by owning his game and telling the truth in the goodbye messages. Paul’s game could have been perfect if he would have owned his game. As Josh would say “You played yourself, fool”!
I agree totally….Xmas voted for Paul,but hanging on Josh in the end….in the words of Rhianna…..All I see are signs….All I see are $signs! This was incredible. I keep rewinding this, it is so unbelievable. I think Josh was offended, by Paul calling a coward, about his true alliance reveal. Just shows what Paul really thought of him. It was priceless seeing Paul, become undone. He forgot to his narcissism in his diary room sessions. The same thing happened several years ago to a female cast member, in an old BB finale. I can’t remember her name….she should have won, but the jury were pissed about her DR sessions and she lost.
I was disappointed with the show this season, but the ending was priceless. Paul never expected such a bitter jury, and to add insult to injury raven goes over and rubs his arm shouldn’t she be doing that to Matt. It shows you they did know each other outside this house. I didn’t like that they left cody’s key till the end. And for everyone to give him afp when he never wanted to be around anybody or on camera. Not their best season.

His jury management skills were terrible though. He blatantly lied to Mark, Elena, Jason and Alex. Cody was originally going to vote for Paul.
What I believe that changed his vote was when he battled back and had the heated fights with Paul. Also when the whole house ganged up on Jessica and Cody. That solidifis Cody’s vote against Paul.

Favorite parts:
Paul mad when Josh won final 3 HOH, wouldn’t let shitmas hug him. Then he shitted in his pants because he was sooooo scared Josh wasn’t going to take him to finals even tho Josh had promised him previously. Paul took a huge deep breath when Josh evicted shitmas. Paul was so sure he won at that point.
Jury questions excellent: The jury really grilled Paul (playing dirty, friendship…) and Paul didn’t own up to anything(which possibly cost him the game). In fact quite the opposite he played the poor victim in danger all game(so not true), trying to get out others before they got him(no one was going after him except Cody), he got them as far as he could but couldn’t go against the house(bullshit, he was the house, it was HIS decision to get his friends/alliance members out). Score: C-
Josh answered his jury questions way better then Paul. He made a lot of good points and owned up to his gameplay(including his bullying). I think he even showed ppl how he really did play them by playing the dumb Josh and really did know what he was doing and what was going on way more then the jury realized. Score: A+
Final speeches:
Paul gave his rehearsed speech which again didn’t own up to his dirty gameplay. After jury questions he should have known he needed to change his speech. But instead he focused on playing the poor victim that was always a target and that he tried to help all his friends as far as he could(which was not true and the jury was hurt that he screwed them and mad that he made them look like idiots). And then talked about comp wins and not being on the block(jury could care less at this point). Score: D
Josh speech did not seem rehearsed, felt like it was from the heart and again made good points as to what he did in the game. Score B+
Loved jess calling the jury out – all playing for Paul.
Loved BB calling the jury out how they all trusted Paul and were ok with him winning. And then showing the I trust Paul clips along with Paul talking about his puppets.
Loved BB showing the Josh goodbye messages and revealing his alliance with Paul and Christmas. Which was very smart(not cowardly as Paul stated). Loved that Paul was soooooo pissed but Paul’s reaction to Josh was not cool (being mad at Josh, calling him cowardly, and saying I TOOK him finals to beat him).
Loved 5 to 4 vote with Cody being the deciding vote for Josh to win!!! OMG Paul’s reaction when they were tied and he knew he was going to lose and he started shaking his head No and mumbling something to himself.
I loved that Josh won and outplayed Paul in the end.
Note: I was surprised that I did feel a little bad for Paul though…..

Remember that was never played on the CBS Broadcast which is where the majority of people who watch and vote come from. Not many people saw what he said or TMZ reports of it. Most people saw him as a loveable cowboy and dad who wanted to play a straight and honest game.
To be fair Jason didn’t say he was actually going to do those things. He just pointed out the worse thing he could say to Kevin (to make him mad) and that was it.
So, I guess if someone goes into the big brother house, and sets out to create a mob mentality environment starting week one (that causes a house guest to quit), then continues to set loose the mob and alienate targets, stoking bitterness and pettiness in everybody in the house, then makes deals including multiple final three and final two deals, finally continuing to encourage past bitterness and pettiness to humiliate evicted house guests that are long gone….. then that person should: a) own their game. b) not be surprised when the pettiness and bitterness of everyone that’s been backstabbed in jury comes back at them.
Let’s face it. Nobody voted for Josh to win. They voted for Paul to lose. They voted for Paul to lose because he’d spent months encouraging the most negative aspects of themselves to become their prevalent traits in the game. The vet convinced them that was the way to play the game, so the vet lost because they learned the lesson well.
While everyone is mentioning bitter and delusional players: perhaps it’s time to listen to yom kippur’s interview with Will, where she states part of her vote against Josh was because he didn’t take her to the end…. she told him to cut her if it was in his best interest a couple of days ago, didn’t campaign to stay, and held it against him? NIce delusional thought process garbage day. She was going to vote Paul no matter what, same as it was obvious Martin and communicable disease were going to vote Paul, same as it was obvious plastic wrap was going to vote Paul.
When Paul counted votes, he was counting on the completely petty Alex (who was still going on about misplaced cat ears from week one on week seven) to convince Jason to vote for him. He was counting on Mark to hate Josh more than Paul. He was counting on Elena to still be misted. He was counting on Cody to hate Josh more than Paul. He was convinced he’d get a clean sweep against baby huey in the finals. He encouraged them to be as petty as possible all season. that’s his downfall.
I get the feeling most of the house guests from season 19 won’t actually keep in touch. It was a season of bitterness, capped off with a bitter jury, and delusional finalists.
next season the viewers should be the final vote expect the unexpected

I cannot stand Alex, but her comment when casting final vote was spot on – the fact that she was giving her vote to the person that stabbed her in the front, not the back. Bingo! That’s what Cody did, too. That’s what the majority did. They respected the fact that Josh came out and point blank said he didn’t like people or that he was playing the game for himself. That’s why he won. They at least respected that. I am not happy that Josh won. I am happy that Paul was resigned to second place and lost by one vote again. He LIED all night long on finale show. Seriously. Time to stop lying. Time to own your game moves and be proud of what you did to get to final 3. HE didn’t earn final two. Josh stupidly handed it to him. Josh would have won whether it was Christmas or Paul sitting next to him. I saw where everyone said Josh just handed Paul $500,000. I told my husband when Josh picked Paul that it only takes 5 votes for Josh to win, and I named them. I knew exactly why Josh took Paul. I knew that Raven and Matt would stay firmly planted in Paul’s butt and vote for him. I knew that Kevin would give it to Paul bc he “respected” his “game play”…and I knew good ol’ Boxing Day would gladly vote for her little boy crush to win. Predictable. The fact that CODY not only won AFP (yay!!!), but was THE deciding vote (nail in Paul’s deserved coffin) to sit in 2nd place once again was purely poetic. Great end to an otherwise vile season. I heard Dr. Will interviewed Julie Chen and they want possibly LINDSAY LOHAN to do Celeb BB?! That will 100% guarantee I will not watch it. NO TRASHY CELEBS. Sick of BB settling for garbage. So glad for Jess and Cody. Hope they can remain close, and if not make it, at least be good friends.

I am just glad there were enough of the idiots in the jury who did not like being made to look foolish and chose not to award Paul the half million …. laughed my ass off as well when Cody was voted most favorite by America … another thumb in Paul’s eye. Congrats to Josh and I hope the money serves him and his family well.

Paul called Josh “The Blob” the first 2 mnths.

Did you see Paul’s face when they announced Celeb BB? He raised his huge eyebrows like “hey maybe I can get on that. I’m a star”
Nope Paul. You done! Get a real life and move out of mommies. CBS and it’s supporters want nothing to do with you.
Well this did not go according to script!!! Reading the comments I am torn between 2 real possibilities. CBS, for the good of the BB franchise, stepped in and prevented Production from rigging the finale. There were a ton of complaints this season about Production meddling and the shitty cast. Perhaps CBS looked at the Q ratings and social media polling and put down their foot with Grodner to knock it off. They would not let her give 1st to paul, AFP to josh and a return next year to xmas. Or several HGs went rogue. And I am thinking that Cody, elena, and Mark may have. Cody made a comment about “keeping his word”. Who was he keeping his word too? Was he signaling Elena and mark? Elena made an odd comment directed toward production “cut scene there is no jury management”!!! . And then grinned. As if the whole thing was just another scripted scene in the show scene. But the scene was not going to go as planned! Hmmmmmm.
Paul also seemed unsurprised by anything on this show until a few things happened:
1- Paul seemed stunned when he saw Josh’s DR session. He seemed to be saying “Why the f@ck are they showing this. what is Grodner doing? How does this help me?”
2- At 4-2 all the votes had gone as predicted. And we were left with cody elena and mark. CBS in the past usually alternates the vote so its the final vote that matters and breaks a 4-4 tie. They did not alternate the votes time! Did they think the closest josh would get would be 4-2? And since they knew the last 3 HGs would vote for Paul, 4-2 was as close as Josh would get before paul pulled away for the 7-2 win. on a 5-4 vote CBS would have let it go to 4-4 to build suspense before Cody cast his final vote for paul. And the 2 enemies could embrace. The HGs may have f@cked over Grodner.
3- Paul also seemed genuinely shocked when the elena mark and cody votes went down.
Just thinking about how the votes fell and realized the 4 votes Paul got were from the 3 worst players (in a season of bad players) and Christmas.
Kevin – won absolutely nothing, clueless about the game and a big Paul laptop dog.
Raven – won absolutely nothing , the true “puppetmaster” and spent the season going down on Matt
Matt – didn’t make any effort to play, Won a veto he was trying to throw and used it on the other person on the block with him, and tried to get penalty votes to go home. Oh and had sex with Raven
So it’s no surprise they voted for Paul. They have no clue about Big Brother. And none were trying to win, Kevin and Raven wanted Paul to win and Matt wanted Raven to win, so Matt went to his 2nd choice, Paul.
Now, some may argue about Christmas also being a horrible player. She’s a scumbag. She was Josh’s closest ally and I agree with the poster who said that she voted for Paul because he started snuggling with her. I think Paul realized Xmas and Josh were close and he started cuddling with her to pull her away from Josh. and it worked.
May none of these people even be on BB again. I saw Frankie in the audience last night and threw up a little in my mouth…

Cody getting America’s Favorite because he didn’t like Paul is stupid as hell. Cody played a horrible game. No, he played 2 horrible games. Cody was the first HOH and the ring-leader of a huge, powerful alliance, and he went after them the first chance he got. And like the baby he is, he made it like his alliance went against him, which was the opposite of what happened. When you put up people in your own alliance without consulting them, everyone is going to drop you. This isn’t rocket science, but Cody, being the conceited idiot that he is, expected everyone to bow down to his douchebaggery. Paul took advantage of Cody’s untrustworthiness and warned people when he put them up as pawns. When Cody decided to destroy his own alliance, everyone ran to Paul. Paul seized control, because he was the shoulder everyone could cry on. He intentionally played this way. He always swooped in to provide “friendship” (i.e., manipulation) when someone was vulnerable. If Cody was honest and formed actual relationships with people, Paul would have been out as soon as his production-granted three weeks of safety were up. Cody knowing Paul was playing the house was a moot point, since he didn’t align with anyone except Jessica’s boobies, and since everyone who left the house knew Paul was running things before they left. Cody deserves nothing, except Jessica, so they can be sad and gross together.

Oh what could have been for Cody and Jessica had they played the game earlier. If they just had a social game and Cody could have gotten past being a victim of the power production gave Paul. Would love to have seen him a little nicer and not shut down when paul was allowed to stay. I guess congrats go to josh who I didn’t think would make it past week 2.
At first I was shocked and thought Paul should have won the game but after thinking about it for awhile, I realized it really was a tossup. I didn’t agree with the jury being so bitter but in the end Paul really played himself. It was too bad because he played a near perfect game up until the finale. He messed up in his final speech, he continued to lie about him controlling everybody and instead denied it. Not only that but he was being disrespectful to Josh when Josh was talking at that point he should have been playing nice. Calling him a coward and being mad at Josh for his diary room good-byes just proved everyone’s point that he only cared for #1 himself. Paul should have owned up to playing all of them, been respectful of Josh when he was speaking and defineately understood why Josh told the truth in the diary room because it was a good strategy. Paul’s ego of being the best is what sunk him in the end and I could also argue in the end Josh outplayed him.
To the Cody AFP haters, I think people are confusing the point. Baseball has the same bullshit with the Most Valuable Player award, where there is controversy with the “valuable” part. A great player on a lousy team does not win it. They should scrap the MVP and create a Player of The Year award for the best player. Cody was a lousy player, had a poor social game, couldnt work with production, and was more interested in Jessica’s hymen. But that doesnt mean he should not win AFP. Its a likability award, not an award for great game play. In that regard he prolly should have won. Personally I would have given it to mark.
that was a classic ending to a pretty messed up season.. paul had it for so long.. then blew it.. he got busted for overplaying his “jury management” and then failed with every question posed to him.. instead of taking credit for what he was being called out on he backtracked.. josh didnt win.. paul lost.
and jess worked her ass off for weeks to help get cody voted AFP.. i thought it would go to kevin…
